Favorite Things in the 515 - Richie Bros Junk Removal

I’m not joking, I loved having a dumpster in my driveway. It was an incentive to let go of things that I hadn’t previously given myself permission to get rid of. The hardest items to get rid of were items of my parents that I didn’t use but held onto anyway because to get rid of them felt like a betrayal. With the dumpster and a purging moon, I got rid of them with a light heart. My mantra for the move was Keep the Best, Ditch the Rest. It didn’t only apply to my physical belongings but also to the most precious of things-my memories. I gave myself permission to keep the best things, people and memories and chuck everything else into the dumpster, literally and metaphorically.

I have used Charlie Reese and Richie Bros Junk Removal for years for purging, junk removal, yard waste help and haul away after remodeling. They are simply the best. They are reliable, kind and hard working good people. You know you have stuff to let go of, let them take it off your hands. It will feel amazing and you will be supporting great people. Check out their website.

BEHOLD, THE REST

At one point in the move I declared out loud to literally no one, “ I am a horrible person for putting people through this.” It was a recognition of the awfulness of moving and it filled mw with guilt for a moment. That moment was brief as I was reminded immediately of all the major life upgrades I have witnessed helping you move over the years. This move was a major upgrade for me and it will make me a better realtor forever. Thank you for trusting me with your moves and letting me witness all the good that has brought all of you.

Truly, with breath and gratitude,

Meghan
